(Lisbon):Editorial Caminho. (1985). 649pp. Wraps. Covers are worn with some soiling and mild foxing. Otherwise in very good condition. Interior is clean and free of stray markings, though there is toning to the pages throughout. FB007

London:Harper and Brothers. 1906. 372pp. Illustrated with folding map at rear. Ex-library with number in white on spine, library bookplate on first free end-page, library name stamped on bottom of title page and a date due bookplate glued to inside rear board. Tiffany bookplate of Deming Jarves on the inside front board. The end-pages have darkened with age but otherwise, aside from a couple of penciled notations and a number penned to the bottom of the contents page, the pages are clean and bright. No foxing. Binding is tight and hinges intact. Boards lightly shelf-worn and rubbed at edges. Overall, a very good copy.
New York:National Travel Club. (1936). pp:viii,(1),275. Illustrated. 1st edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Boards lightly mottled at top edgs with slight shelfwear over all. Internally, end-pages age toned, with some light soiling to the top edges of the last couple pages, otherwise a very good, solid copy. Dust jacket is lghtly soiled with overall shelf-wear and wear to all edges and seams with a repaired (taped) tear on bottom rear cover.
London:Alexander Strahan, Publisher. 1866. 2 volumes. xl+ 270pp and vii+ 332pp. Illustrated. Hardcover. Volume 1 front board is moderately soiled, with wear to edges and chipping to lower ended of spine. Volume 2 boards bright with very little wear. Page edges dust stained on both volumes. Both volumes have light age-toning to first and last few pages, and a very occasional spot of foxing or a smudge scattered throughout. No previous owners marks or signatures. Both bindings are tight and hinges intact. Overall, a very good set.
Madrid; Santos Larxe, 1870, 1871. Two Volumes. Hardcover, no dj. 1127+1120pp. Good Condition, Paper covered boards are well worn, especially at the extremities. Gilt stamped leather spines also worn with cracks to leather at top/bottom of spine. Page edges are dirty top and fore-edge. Internally though both volumes are pretty clean; age toning but no markings, and very litttle foxing. Despite the thickness of these volumes, the bindings are still very secure, with only a handful of pages loosening. A lengthy Spanish historical romantic novel. (cfm)

Some foxing to endpapers, dust spots on page edges, and owner name penned on endpaper. DJ lightly rubbed, 1" tear to bottom front, spine a bit faded, foxing spots to flaps and book side. A narrative history of Spain at her pinnacle of grandeur; traces the story of Isabel and Fernando, Juana la Loca, and Charles V.

Ex-library with small library book plate on inside front board, number on bottom of spine and small library stamp on title page, frontispiece and map. Aside from the library markings and some light foxing scattered throughout, a very good, clean copy.
