Otherwise in very good condition. Interiors of both volumes are clean and free of stray markings, save for library bookplates on the inside-front board and small library stamps at the bottom of the title page. Overall, this is a very good set.

Interior is relatively clean, albeit age toned with mild foxing scattered throughout. First several pages are torn in a consistent location along the right edge; no paper is lost, so repairable. All in all, a very good copy.

Chicago: University of Chicago Press. (1948). Two volumes. Hardcover w/ dust jacket. Both dust jackets show some wear, with several chips and tears along the edges. Second volume is bumped on front bottom edge point. Both volumes are internally clean with no stray markings. This is a very good set.

Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, though the first end-paper has been removed and there is a bookplate pasted onto the inside-front board. Overall, this is a very good copy with a good jacket.
Boston:Houghton Mifflin Company. 1911. 676pp. Hardcover. Binding is lightly shelf-worn with some fading to the spine. Front edge points slightly bumped. Interior is clean, though there is a small newspaper clipping pasted to the inside front board and a previous owner's signature on the first free end-paper. Also, there is pencil underlining throughout. Overall, this is a good copy.
