This book reproduces all the known portraits of Wild Bill Hickock, together with a selection of photographs of his family, his friends, his foes, and the places that knew him. Aside from some dust residue to page edges, a very good to near fine copy.
Bloomington: Indiana University Press. 1956. 367 pp. Illustrated. Hardcover w/ dust jacket. Jacket shows some wear to the edges and spine, with several chips and tears. Also lightly soiled. Book itself has only some minor shelf wear. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, save for a previous owner's signature at the top right corner of the half-title page.
