Boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with title in gilt on front cover still bright, some minor rippling to cloth in spots on front cover, and wear along edges with spine ends worn/chipped and edge points gently bumped and worn to boards. Internally end-pages slightly age-toned with a previous owners inscription to inside front board and a card for Kemp's Mammoth Boot and Shoe Store attached to 1st free end-page and a "Comp of 'Bob'" in pencil to top of title page. Otherwise, paper is lightly age-toned but clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
