Hardback.  Decorated boards rubbed, soiled and shelfworn with wear to all edgs, spine ends frayed, and edge points worn to boards. Internally end pages lightly soiled, with an old  bookseller ticket to bottom of verso of 1st free endpage. The binding is tight with hinges intact, however cracked at between contents and preface page. Several pages have been jammed along fore-edge with resulting small crease or tear to margins. Overall, a good solid copy.
