Binding shows some wear to the boards at the ends of the spine. Binding is slightly cocked. Reprint of 1924 edition written by one of Hitler's admirers that, according to Kershaw's HITLER, 1889-1936, spoke of him in terms of prophet, genius, religious person, political leader, man of will, educator, awakener, liberator and a man of humility and loyalty.

Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings. Overall, this is a good, tight copy.

There is a previous owners name on the top of the first free fly-leafy and although both hinges have cracked this is still a very good,tight copy. Externally, spine chipped at top and cloth light wear and some fading from exposure to sun.

Spine ends worn with some chipping to both ends. Internally, no previous owners marks or signatures. End pages are slightly soiled and age-toned, with overall age toning to paper throughout. Some pages still uncut, but others roughly cut. The double map at the front is in very good condition, with the folding map in rear with tears to margins. The binding is tight and hinges intact. Overall a near very good copy.

Original monthly issues of Deutsche Kolonialzeitung for calendar years 1891-92. Good condition. Pages are age toned and brittle with age, and several pages are loose. Otherwise the contents are clean and unmarked, and the binding is fragile but secure. This was the newspaper of the German Colonial Society, formed in 1887 to promote German colonialism. (cfm)
