New York: The Macmillan Company. 1934. Hardcover, no jacket. viii+373pp. Good+ condition. Black cloth boards are shelf worn, with some circular damage to the sheen of the fabric (like someone placed a hot coffee mug on it). The gilt titling on spine is slightly faded. There are dust spots to the page edges and foxing to the endpapers, front and back. The text block however is clean, unmarked and unfoxed. The binding is square and tight.  A very serviceable copy of this history of Germany in the time between the World Wars. (cfm)
