Berlin: Eigentum und Verlag der Deutschen Kolonialgesellschaft. 1896. First Edition. Ex Harvard College Library. Complete original weekly issues of Deutsche Kolonialzeitung for 1896. Good condition. The pages are age toned and brittle with age.  A handful of pages are loose and the brittle paper has caused some tears and chipping at page edges. Overall though the pages are generally clean, intact and unmarked. The binding is fragile but almost all pages are tightly held. This was the newspaper of the German Colonial Society which was formed in 1887 to promote German colonialism. (cfm)
