Ex-library with number in white on spine, library bookplate on first free end-page, library name stamped on bottom of title page and a date due bookplate glued to inside rear board. Tiffany bookplate of Deming Jarves on the inside front board. The end-pages have darkened with age but otherwise, aside from a couple of penciled notations and a number penned to the bottom of the contents page, the pages are clean and bright. No foxing. Binding is tight and hinges intact. Boards lightly shelf-worn and rubbed at edges. Overall, a very good copy.

Internally though both volumes are pretty clean; age toning but no markings, and very litttle foxing.
