London:Harper and Brothers. 1906. 372pp. Illustrated with folding map at rear. Ex-library with number in white on spine, library bookplate on first free end-page, library name stamped on bottom of title page and a date due bookplate glued to inside rear board. Tiffany bookplate of Deming Jarves on the inside front board. The end-pages have darkened with age but otherwise, aside from a couple of penciled notations and a number penned to the bottom of the contents page, the pages are clean and bright. No foxing. Binding is tight and hinges intact. Boards lightly shelf-worn and rubbed at edges. Overall, a very good copy.
