Gilt titling and decoration on spine remains bright. Some dust spots to top page edge. Owner bookplate on front pastedown and name on ffep. The contents are unmarked and generally clean, with wdely scattered faint age spots. The binding is square and tight. Tadra was a Czech historian specializing on the 14th and 15th centuries. Title translates as " Offices and scribes in the Czech lands for the Kings of Luxembourg family, Charles IV and Wenceslas IV (1310-1420). (cfm)

Spine strip is worn with print faded and chipping to bottom edge with a small inch long tear to front cover spine edge. Internally, light foxing/soiling to the first couple of pages and light age-toning throughout. Text in french. Overall, a near very good copy.

Jacket is moderately rubbed with fading to spine and small tears at the extremities; the book-facing side of the jacket is heavily foxed, some of which shows through to the back cover and flaps of the jacket. The boards are clean and largely unaffected by the jacket foxing. A bit of foxing to the ffep/front pastedown, but otherwise the interior is clean and bright, unmarked, and securely bound.
