The Early British Attempts to Open Tibet. Princeton, New Jersey:Princeton University Press. 1951. 185pp. Illustrated. Hardcover with dust jacket. Jacket is worn at the edges with some light fraying and several small chips. Spine shows some sunning and there is a touch of soiling to the covers. The binding itself, however, is only mildly shelf-worn. Interior is clean and free of stray markings, save for a brief inscription inked onto the first free end-paper. Overall, this is a very good copy.
