Red boards with gilt on spines still bright are lightly shelfworn, with light wear along edges. Page edges of Vvolume 2 soiled. Internally, both volumes have age-toning/foxing to 1st and last few pages, but otherwise free of previous owners marks or signatures. The bindings are tight and hinges intact.  The dust jackets are not price clipped, but are lightly soiled and worn along edges. Volume 1 has a scratch to the front panel with an accompanying scratch to the front board. A very good set.
