Paris:Chez A. Belin. 1821. 2nd edition. pp:xliv+363pp and 451pp. Hardcovers. Rebound at some point in quarter leather with marbled boards and new endpages. The leather is slightly age-toned and sun-faded with marbled edge points worn to boards. Top page edges gilt.  Internally, a previous owners name is stamped to 2nd free endpage of both volumes with a few penciled bookseller notes to verso of 1st free end-age and 2nd free endpage of 1st volume. Otherwise, pages slightly age toned but clean. The bindings are tight and hinges intact. A very good tight set.
