New York:Henry Holt and Company. (1947). 1st edition, stated. (ix)+558pp. Hardcover with dust jacket. Boards lighlty soiled and shelfworn with page edges soiled. Internally end-pages slightly agetoned, with a book seller ticket to inside front board, but otherwise clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact. The dust jacket is still in one piece but soiled and quite shelfworn, with many small chips and tears to edges and folds.
