Allentown, Pennsylvania: Schlechter's. (1961). 375 pp. Illustrated. Hardcover w/ dust jacket. Jacket is soiled and shows some wear to the edges and spine with a few small chips and tears. Book itself is only lightly shelf worn. Interior is clean and free of stray markings, save for a bookplate on the inside front board, a small newspaper clipping pasted to the first free end-paper, and a small note inked in red, referring to several places in the text where there is some sparse underlining in red pen. All in all, a very good copy.

Boston:Roberts Brothers. 1876. (xv)+70pp+36plates. All edges gilt. Illustrated, etched from nature by the Author. Hardcover. Decorated maroon boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with mottling from silverfish grazing. Gilt on front cover still bright but dulled on spine. Internally clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures but with light foxing to first and last few pages with an additional few spots scattered throughout. The etchings are in excellent condition, but with some offset to opposite pages. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
