Boston:Hilliard, Gray, Little, and Wilkins. 1828. 245 + pages pf publisher's comments on author's previous books. Hardcover. Bound in full leather, which is scuffed and worn, with a small hole along front gutter and spine label chipped. Edge points gently bumped and worn to boards. Internally, both front and back fly-leaf's are missing, with writing on inside front board, last page and inside rear board. The lower corner edges of many pages have curled or are turned, but otherwise in good solid condition. The binding is tight and hinges intact. * Belonged to Stephen Decatur, (with his name to inside front board), son of Stephen Decatur, naval hero of the Tripoli Wars and the War of 1812.
Boston:Robert S. Davis 1849. 72pp. Binding shows wear at edges. There are a couple of minor water stains, and the front and rear fly-leaf are missing. Otherwise, a good, tight copy.

Wellesley Hills:The Welles Publishing Company. (1933). 466pp. Binding is lightly shelf-worn at the edges and spine. Slightly cocked. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, despite some toning to the edges of the end-papers. Overall, this is a very good copy. FB004
