Bound in full leather, which is scuffed and worn, with a small hole along front gutter and spine label chipped. Edge points gently bumped and worn to boards. Internally, both front and back fly-leaf's are missing, with writing on inside front board, last page and inside rear board. The lower corner edges of many pages have curled or are turned, but otherwise in good solid condition. The binding is tight and hinges intact. * Belonged to Stephen Decatur, (with his name to inside front board), son of Stephen Decatur, naval hero of the Tripoli Wars and the War of 1812.
