Front hinge cracked. One previous owner's signature on first fly leaf. Otherwise free of stray markings with some foxing throughout. Pages age-toned.
Translated from the French. Chicago:Henry Regnery Company. 1960. 190pp. Illustrated. Hardcover with dust jacket. Jacket is frayed at the edges and spine ends with several chips and tears. Otherwise only lightly soiled and in good condition. Book itself shows some mild shelf-wear. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings. Overall, this is a very good copy with a good jacket.

Internally, a very good, tight, clean copy. Spine shows minor wear at the hinges and at either end. Otherwise a satisfactory copy.

Rebound in 1/4 leather in recent times (now slightly sun-faded) with new end-pages but using older boards which are shelf-worn and soiled with wear to edges and edge points. Internally, pages are clean and slightly age-toned but free of any foxing or soiling. The rear inside cover does have several pencilled bookseller notes. Overall, a very good, clean copy.

Wraps are lightly soiled and worn at the edges and spine ends, with what looks to be significant silverfish damage along the length of the spine, extendening to the edges of the front and rear covers. Otherwise in good condition. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, save for a brief notation penciled at the bottom of the verso of the title page. Overall, a good, tight copy.
