Lower 1.5 inches of front board and lower edge of rear board sun-faded. Gilt on spine still bright. Page edges marbled. Internally, marbled end-pages clean. with a previous owners small book plate to inside front board, but otherwise, a very good, clean copy throughout. The binding is tight and hinges intact.

Green boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with some stick of dust jacket to lower edges of front board, and page edges soiled. Internally, end-pages age toned and lightly soiled but otherwise clean. An old damp stain affects the last ad page as well as last few end-pages and the rear flap of the dust jacket. The dust jacket is still in one piece but barely, with much wear to edges and folds and many chips and tears.

Internally, the pages are age-toned with no previous owners marks or signatures. Light foxing is scattered throughout. The binding is tight and hinges still intact. Overall, a very good copy.

Paper labels on spine and front cover soiled, but not chipped. Internally, pages just slightly age-toned but otherwise clean. No previous owners marks or signatures. *Author played for Dartmouth College 1896-1897, and was head football coach at University of Cincinnati (1898), College Holy Cross (1903-05), Dartmouth College (1911-16), Boston College (1919-26) and Fordham University (1927-32).

The red boards are faded and soiled with mottling to outer edges, fading to spine and chipping to the spine label, as well as soiling to the page edges. Internally, the end-pages are lightly age-toned but no previous owners marks or signatures. Aside from an occasional smudge scattered throughout, the pages are clean and bright. The binding is tight and hinges intact. Overall, a very good copy.

Also laid in is what looks to be a press release, printed on Bob Bradford's stationary, and signed/inscribed to "Dearest B" Love Bob. Hardcover with dust jacket. Book is in very good, clean condition inside and out. The dust jacket is in good condition with wear to edges and folds and a larger tear with crease to lower spine/front cover edge. It is not price clipped.
