There are handwritten notes detailing names of delegates to the Peace Conference in London (1912) on the verso of the contents and illustrations page, and someone has left newspaper articles in various places which has caused browning to those pages. The decorated boards are lightly rubbed and soiled, with light wear to the edges, including the spine edges.

No previous owners marks or signatures. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  The dust jacket is rubbed and shelfworn, but still near very good condition.
