Aside from a horizontal scratch to the front board about halfway down,(with a corresponding scratch to dust jacket), a very good, clean copy. Gilt on spine still bright. Internally, a very good, clean copy. No previous owners marks or signatures found. Glassine dust jacket is quite worn, with the scratch mentioned above and wear to edges and folds (including small chips and tears).

Internally, end-pages slightly age toned but otherwise clean, with plates in very good condition. The binding is tight and hinges intact. A very good copy. the glassine dust wrapper in missing a large portion of the top half and is discolored with age.

Red boards/black spine are lightly soiled and shelfworn, with fading to spine and wear to spine ends and edge points. The gilt on the spine is no longer legible. Internally, the end-pages are slightly age-toned, and there is a previous owners name in silver ink on the first free end-page. Otherwise, the pages are clean and bright.
