Chicago:A. C. McClurg and Co. 1917. 1st edition. 161pp. Illustrated. Hardcover with remains of dust jacket.  With pamphlet titled PULLMAN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE 1859-1934 attached to inside rear board. Green boards lightly soiled and shelf worn with some rippling to cloth. Internally, end pages slightly age toned with a series of 3 numbers inked to the 1st free end page. Otherwise, pages clean with some light soiling to page edges.  The dust jacket is in poor condition, in two pieces seperated along the front gutter, and missing the bottom third of the spine strip. *"How a great American idea was conceived; developed by aiming at public service, and carried to success by efficiency."
