Binding is worn at the edges and spine with some mild soiling to the covers and library sticker pasted to the top of the spine. Gilt lettering remains clear and bright. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, save for a bookplate pasted down on the inside front board, which has been stamped as discarded. The ink from the stamp has partially transferred to the first free end-paper. Front hinge is slightly cracked, extending about halfway up the length. There is evidence of a library card pocket having been removed from the inside rear-board. Otherwise, a very good copy.
