Overall in very good condition. The first free fly-leaf in volume 1 has had the top half removed and a small portion of the top page edges have been nibbled. There are no previous owners marks or signatures. There is age-toning to end-pages of both volumes with light foxing scattered throughout. Many pages are still uncut. The boards of both volumes are lightly soiled and shelf-worn. The bindings are tight and the hinges still intact. Overall, a very good set.
