Light shelf-wear to spine ends, and light soiling to boards.  Internally, a paper label is pasted to the inside front board, stating " The Society desires to express its thanks for the great assistance rendered by the Governors of Catherine McCaig's Trust towards meeting the expenses of this first publication."  Otherwise, the pages are clean and bright with no prior owners marks or signatures.  Some pages still uncut.
