In very good condition, save for a tear to the bottom of page 59/60.  Maroon boards are lightly soiled and shelf-worn at spine ends and edge points. Gilt on front cover and spine still bright. Internally, no previous owners marks or signatures. All illustrations and plates present as called for. The binding is tight, although cracked at page 32, and hinges intact. Overall, a very good, clean copy.
