"Just to say----Johnny, I'm glad we did it! Evelyn" and dated Nov. 21, 1930. The blue boards are soiled and shelf-worn with the gilt dulled on spine and front cover. The page edges are soiled as well. Spine ends are worn and frayed, and 3 of 4 edge points are worn to boards. Internally, the hinges are intact and the binding is tight. Aside from the inscription, there are no other previous owners marks or signatures. Overall, a near very good, solid copy.
