With a preface by Hilaire Belloc. New York:George H. Doran Company. (1923). 333pp. Without the publishers monogram on the copyright page but with the 1 at bottom of page. Hardcover without the dust jacket. With the bookplate of Dr. Herbert T. Kalmus, one of the inventors of technicolor. Covers faded and shelf-worn, with some soiling. Internally, the end-pages are foxed and age-toned but otherwise, aside from the bookplate and Dr. Kalmus's stamp on the first free flyleaf, the pages are clean with the last half of the book still uncut. Overall, a near very good, solid copy.
