Internally, aside from an inscription dated 1903 "from the daughter of William James" at the top of the 1st fep, a very good, clean copy.  Some age toning to pages, especially around the plates, and some dust soiling to the page edges with top edges gilt. The binding is tight and hinges intact. Overall, a very good copy.
