Pebbled brown cloth with title in gilt on front cover and spine, in very good condition aside from light soiling and wear and fraying to spine ends with edge points bumped and worn to boards. All edges gilt. Internally, signed and inscribed on the 1st free end page by a Mr. Daniel Hall, one of the subjects of the book. Otherwise, pages are clean and bright. The binding is tight and rear hinge intact but front hinge has started.
