Publisher: New York:John Wiley & Sons
Binding: Hard Cover
Dust Jacket: No jacket
New York:John Wiley & Sons. 1885. Translated and Illustrated by Francesca Alexander. In 10 parts with 20 illustrations. 340pp. Hardcover. Patterned boards soiled and shelf-worn. Spine ends worn, frayed, and chipped. Small hole to rear mid-gutter, perhaps made by something jammed into it, but not going all the way through. Top page edges gilt, rest darkened with age. Internally, a previous owners ex-libris bookplate attached to inside front board. Otherwise, aside from a couple spots of foxing to first couple of pages, a very good clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
