Black boards are very worn and soiled, the fabric is cracked in places, and there is bumping and fraying at the extremities.  Penned owner markings on front pastedown and ffep. Pages are still held by the binding, but there is a large binding crack at the title page.  There are black marks, primarily to the margins of the endpapers, and to the page edges that make it appear that this book was near a fire at some point. Internally reasonably clean considering the other problems, with toning and some minor foxing.
