Gilt to front and spine is bright and attractive. Unbumped. Library marking on spine and in the usual spots inside the book. The map is present and in good shape, and has a library stamp in the corner. Library stickers on front pastedown, rfep, and rear pastedown (clumsily removed). Securely bound but some cracking at the hinges. Otherwise clean, unmarked and square. A couple of age spots near the map but otherwise no foxing. Chapters include Geology, Zoology (mammalia, aves, reptilia, pisces, mollusca, insecta, crustacea), Botany, Meteorology and Miscellaneous Notes.
