Boston:Lee and Shepard Publisher. 1873. 219pp. Hardcover.  Brown boards lightly rubbed, shelf-worn and soiled with wear to spine ends and edges. Gilt on spine and front cover slightly dulled.  Binding is tight and hinges intact. Internally there are no previous owners marks or signatures. The pages are clean with a bit of foxing scattered throughout, mainly to pages opposite the illustrations and tissue guards. There is one signature which looks to be coming a bit loose.  Overall, a very good copy.  *The history of the 1872 summer tour of Jubillee Singers of Fisk University, striving to raise funds to erect a building on campus.
