Internally, a post card, signed and inscribed by the author, is attached to the inside front board. (It is addressed to Mr. Francis Hight, Art Manager of Youth's Companion.) Otherwise, a very good, clean copy. No other previous owners marks or signatures and pages are clean and bright. The binding is tight and hinges intact. *Author is perhaps best know for illustrating Leroux's Phantom of the Opera. This is a novel of circus life.
