In very good, clean condition.  Blue binding slightly soiled and shelf-worn with spine ends starting to fray. Only signature is that of the author, with two greek letters and the date of her graduation from Mt. Holyoke (1902).  From Wikipedia..."Mary Lyon was an American pioneer in women's education. She established the Wheaton Female Seminary in Norton Massachusetts (now Wheaton College) in 1834. She then established Mount Holyoke Female Seminary (now Mt. Holyoke College) in South Hadley Massachusetts in 1837, and served as it's first President for 12 years."
