TOM CRINGLE'S LOG

Edinburgh: William Blackwood. 1833. Two Volumes: 371pp + 384pp. Rebound in 1/2 leather with decorative spines. Top edge gilt. Boards are moderately scuffed, but the tooled gilt spines look very handsome on the shelf. A portrait of the West Indies and nautical life in the early 19th century.  (cfm)
