HOME FROM THE SEA

HOME FROM THE SEA

New York:The Macmillan Company. 1931. 1st edition. 259pp. Illustrated. Hardcover. Tan covers soiled and edge points worn.  Internally, end-pages are age toned, and slightly sticky from glue residue where a large previous owners bookplate has fallen off the 1st free end-page. Prelims are foxed but otherwise, aside from some minor age-toning and a couple spots of foxing sprinkled throughout, a very good, clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact. *Titanic related as Author was captain of the Carpathia, which responded to the distress call, rescuing 710 survivors.
