Boston: Ticknor and Fields. 1868. Hardcover, no jacket. 287pp. Stamped green cloth boards with decorative gilt titling on cover and spine. Good condition. Boards are heavily worn with dulling of spine, and fabric wear through at extremities. HInges are cracked but holding. Owner names pencilled to endpapers and penned to top of title page. The pages are brittle and toned with age. The final page is loose. Despite these flaws the text block in general is clean and securely bound. Not a showpiece, but still a very serviceable copy of this title. (cfm)
