Boards are moderately shelfworn with some light mottling. The gilt remains bright and attractive. Inside, the contents are clean and unmarked with no foxing. Tissue guards are present. The foldout map is in great shape. The binding is square and secure. A lovely copy of this heavily illustrated and comprehensive look at Brazil and it's people as of the mid 19th century. (cfm)
