Hardcover.  Brown boards with gilt design on front cover and to spine strip lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear to edges, spine ends and edge points. Internally, no previous owners marks or signatures, but end-papers lightly soiled. Age toning to paper and some foxing scattered throughout, with some old damp stains to first and last pages.  The binding is tight and hinges intact. Overall, a very good copy.
