New York:Charles Scribner's Sons. 1928. 1st edition. 266pp. Hardcover with dust jacket.  Blue boards lightly mottled on both front and rear board, with title in gilt on spine still bright. Page edges soiled.  Internally, a large bookplate is attached to inside front board, with light age-toning and some offset from jacket flap to endpages. Otherwise pages clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures but with a spot of soiling to title page (and opposite page). The dust jacket is in good+ condition, soiled with spine strip darkened, and some chipping to edges and spine ends. It is not price clipped. *A collection of short stories.
