NEW TRAILS IN MEXICO. An Account of One Year's Exploration in North-Western Sonora, Mexico and South Western Arizona 1909-1910
New York:Charles Scribner's Sons. 1912. 1st edition. xxv+411pp. Illustrate, including 2 color plates and 2 maps in rear pocket. Hardcover. Brown boards lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear to edges and spine ends. Gilt on front cover bright, but dulled on spine strip. Top edges gilt. Internally end-pages lightly age toned with an old bookseller ticket to 1st free end-page and a previous owners name stamped to 1st free end-page, as well as half title and verso of frontispiece. The third appendix (398/9) is uncut but someone did attempt it with some tears to margins as a result. Pages in the index have creasing to edges as if once turned. The binding is tight and hinges intact. The maps in the rear board are both in very good condition but with some age toning to the outside as if while folded were laid in the sun, one on top of the other. Overall, near very good condtion.
