(1940). 1st edition, stated. 241pp. Hardcover with dust jacket.  Grey boards with tltle in white to front cover and spine is lightly soiling along hinges and spine strip. Page edges lightly dust stained. Internally end-pages age toned, with previous owners name penciled to top of 1st free end-page, and with some notes in both pencil and ink to rear free end-page. Otherwise, a very good, clean copy.  The dust jacket is still in one peice but quite shelfworn, with wear to all edges and folds (including small chips and tears). All corners of the jacket have been clipped.
