Leather scuffed and worn at edge points. Marbled boards rubbed and shelfworn. Internally, a bookplate belonging to Sir John Leslie, Glaslough House (Castle Leslie Estate, Ireland) to inside front board, but otherwise pages age-toned but clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures. The first 34 pages show evidence of an old damp stain to bottom edge, diminishing in size as disappearing. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  *Colonial Library.
