Hardcover.  Brown blindstamped boards with gilt on front cover and spine still bright, lightly soiled and shelfworn, with several small flecks dinged to boards.  Board fore-edges worn to boards with edge points gently bumped and worn to boards and spine ends worn and starting to fray.  Internally end pages lightly age toned with a previous owners name inked to middle of 1st free endpage (leaking into verso). Otherwise pages relatively clean save for an old damp stain to outside lower third of page edge, getting bigger towards middle and then decreasing in size again. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
