New York:The Macmillan Company. 1940. 1st printing, stated. vi+126pp. Hardcover with dust jacket.  Book in very good condition. Green boards lightly soiled and shelfworn along edges. Gilt on spine still bright. Something which has spilled on the dust jacket has worked it's way through and discolored sponts on the rear board. Internally, end pages are age toned with a previous owners bookplate to inside front board, otherwise pages clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact. The dust jacket is near very good, soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges and folds, including small chips and tears. In addition, something has dripped onto the jacket which has discolored it in spots, as well as working through to the rear board.
