The binding is tight and hinges intact.  * Part of the Ames Free Library which was started by Oliver Ames Jr., with a bequest in his will. This copy has his small name sticker to inside front board, as well as his signature to the top of the title page. Oliver Ames Jr. was President of the Union Pacific Railroad and served in the Ma. State Senate.
