Book in very good condition, with gilt on spine still bright but worn along edges and edge points. Page edges soiled/foxed. Internally, end-papers are slightly age-toned with shadows of old bookseller notes now erased on 1st free end-page. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  The dust jacket is still in one piece but age-toned and soiled, with wear to all edges and folds, including small chips/tears.
