London:John Murray. 1843. 2nd edition. xxiv+352pp and vi+155pp+4pp catalogue. Hardcover.  Green boards soiled and shelfworn, with wear to edges, spine ends, and edge points gently bumped. Spine labels darkened with age, with chipping to label on Volume 1. Internally, both volumes have glue residue to inside front board where bookplates used to reside, volume 1 has some bookseller notes in pencil to verso of 1st free end-page, and both volumes have end-papers which are soiled and age-toned, with loss of paper to inside rear boards, and light foxing to first few pages. Volume 2 has a horizontal inch and a half tear to 1st free endpage.  Both bindings are tight but volume 1's hinges have cracked. Overall, a near very good set.
